convex tails
Most of our short boards feature convex tails. Convex tails are fun because they add extra traction and dig. It angles the edge of the board right where you push with your toes and heels, giving you extra leverage when performing power slides. I’ve spent so much time working on this shape because I was tired of my feet slipping off the board when sliding down steep ramps. With the added convex and the narrowing of that backfoot slot, you can really dig your toes and heels into the edge of the board and explode into your slides.
KEEP IN MIND
Due to the Convex in the shortboard, there is a small gap between the back truck and the board. This has been tested and performance is not affected.
Each board is HANDMADE at my house, not in a FACTORY. So expect small imperfections in the finish of the board. This being said, performance is guaranteed or a replacement will be made.
